Originally, I had only dabbled with internet blogging here and there, and not really taking it on with gusto. Sometime last year, I began to use these technologies for work and created my own website (mrloftuspe.com). With this site, I had the resources to create unlimited sites and utilize them however I wished. I began by establishing a blog for teachers who were curious about technology and then expanded to this family site.

I had wanted to establish a family site for awhile, but just didn’t have a goal or direction for it and didn’t want it to languish on the vine. My kids had been using the internet pretty much their whole lives (remember myspace?), and I began to think, “What can I do to be a positive influence in their online lives?” Thus was born familyloftus.com.

On this site, you’ll find a (very) diverse collection of stuff. There will be stories, political analysis, spiritual insight and challenge, funny comics, videos, & music, and more. There is a link to photos we have taken and wish to share.

This content will hopefully encourage my children in their walk with the Lord, provoking them to make wise decisions. For guests to this site, you are certainly welcome. Perhaps you, too, will be edified/challenged.
