President Obama and Congress have recently decided to give $26 billion to help pay the salaries of teachers, police, and other service workers. These workers are–in many areas–in danger of being laid off because the cities that employ them have spent too much money and can no longer afford the contracts they have signed.

Christian preacher arrested for saying homosexuality is a sin.
The law that was used to arrest a street-preacher, its supporters said, was intended to be used against rioters and football hooligans. Christians were in an uproar when it was passed by the British legislature, but were assured it would not effect them.
Guess they weren’t so truthful.
Oh, and this is the second time this has happened.
