This per­fectly illus­trates the dif­fer­ence between con­ser­vatism and liberalism:

Unfor­tu­nately, the Repub­li­can party is not per­fectly con­ser­v­a­tive. Bush Sr (“read my lips…”) & Bush Jr (amnesty for ille­gal immi­grants, any­one?) waf­fled a bit in some areas. Mr. Rea­gan did as well, but not on impor­tant items. And when he served, (early 19080s), the coun­try had just “come out” of the rebel­lion era 60s & 70s, with “love & peace” everywhere.

Recently, FOX News announced they would hire Ms. Sarah Palin as a com­men­ta­tor, or polit­i­cal pun­dit, for their net­work. The response from lib­eral media has been very angry, call­ing her–and the network–names. Why do you sup­pose this is?
