So our President, once a year, submits a budget to congress for it’s approval. Recently, President Obama has been giving speeches and proclaiming how he wants to reduce the debt the nation is in (while he is personally responsible for over $1 trillion of it!). When you have a financial shortfall, like the US is having, you need to change how you spend the money you do have. You cannot just go get more money, because the same problem exists: you spend it unwisely. If you spend $100 unwisely, you will also spend $1,000 unwisely. Reminds me of what the Lord said: “He who is faithful in small things will be faithful in large things.” (Pardon my paraphrase.)
